Due to recent economic challenges it has been a lean time for many event companies. Fortunately, signs of recovery are everywhere.
What did we learn? That you can manage to do things more efficiently when you must.
We all know events cost money. The 'wow' factor, intrigue, excitement, AV, staff, entertainment, communications, etc., all have a price tag. And though you can never sacrifice quality you can offer your clients options that meet their objectives, such as smaller audiences and alternate dates or timelines - all which can deliver savings.
These past six months have taught me, even more so than before, to appreciate the opportunities, look hard for solutions and listen to clients. This renewed determination will offer a respected and closer client partnership that will come back to you ten-fold!
